I have flipped. Not mentally or politically.
I have flipped the radio dial.
Back when I was saved (1968) a demon guided nationwide anti-America and anti-Christian mob was rampaging. The news was distressing.
Talk radio did not exist. Before I got saved I listened to the rock and roll AM stations. After I got saved the dial was set to a Christian station and I was taught and inspired by
Greene, McGee, Greene, Roloff, and Rogers.
The past few years, as I walked, worked around the house, drove, waited in parking lots for Melody to shop, or worked on the computer, I would listen to the major conservative talkers.
Their programs were depressing.
They (Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Savage, Gallagher, Prager, et al. are smart, but (for whatever reason), they would not (Prager did a fair job) name the obvious front line of the Culture War--the hearts and minds of our children. No matter how many political gains or wins conservatives get, it will all be for naught if our children are left in government schools. Government schools are brainwash centers and their effectiveness is apparent to all who are not willingly blind.
I sensed lots of inner tension as I listened to the talkers. I was not being edified.
So, I have flipped the dial to FBN with a local station as low reception back-up while driving. AFR is a third option. Glory to God! It has been a refreshing, cleansing spiritual shower.
